I managed to get a couple hours of sleep, then I had to go off to the Affi Shriners Temple in Tacoma to perform a show with my friends, Rick Anderson and his son Tevin. You can say Rick is my mentor when it comes to magic and performing, he has taught me alot over the years. It was a great show!!!!! I was a little worried when I saw that we were performing for an older group of folks, but I would have to say the at this was one of the best Cups and Balls routines I have every performed!!
Sunday was even BUSIER!!!!. I woke up at the butt ass crack of dawn and got cracking on Andrew's room, Darlene did all the painting in the tight areas and I did the big stuff. The paint was all dry, so it was time to put the room in order. It's done, now we just have to get him to sleep in his new bed. We tried Sunday night to get him to sleep in his new room,. We would put him to bed, then he would get out and come to the door. We would turn our heads, he saw that we saw him and he runs back to bed and acts like he was asleep. It was Sooo cute, of course, I say that now..... we gave him the choice of sleeping in the "big boy bed" or the "baby bed". He picked the baby bed. It may take a bit of time, but we won't try to rush him. We
want this to be a pleasant experience for him.
We got everything done just in time to TRY and watch Jeff Dunham's "Very Special Christmas Special". What I saw of it was great, but I was so tired, I fell asleep during the special. I Guess I'll just have to wait till it comes out on DVD.

Speaking of DVD's, my wife thinks I am going WAY to overboard with my collection. Most of the movies I have, she can't handle watching( she doesn't do well with horror or zombie movies, she cringed during "Idle Hands") or thinks are dumb (she doesn't care for Godzilla movies either) There are some VERY hard to find films in my collection, hell, I spent two years searching online for all 29 Godzilla movies as well as some old school Japanese Sci-Fi from the late 70's. We do have alot of "normal" movies, as well as a great deal of Disney films. Andrew is 2 and he already hooked on Japanese Sci-Fi movies. A 2 year old has a very short attention span, so I only play the end of the films. He will sit there and go nuts yelling "Guya", that's what he calls Godzilla and growling at the T.V. He does the same thing with his Godzilla figures. Now, don't get me wrong here, I am only letting him watch the movies from the 60's and 70's where battle scenes are very cartoonish. I won't let him watch any of those movies from the 90's or after 2000 as they are very violent.

Glad to hear your show went well. You are good no matter what the crowd, young or old!!
Andrew's room looks great. You guys have really done a lot.
Your movie collection wouldn't be so bad if you'd watch the new ones. I bet one third of the movies up there you haven't even seen yet!!!
Sure do miss ya'll. Glad things are going well. Kiss Andrew for me.
The room looks Great!
Nice work.
I'm going to have to start coming to your monthly sessions in Tacoma!
